Riyad Mahrez, the Algerian star who was absent from the tournament, also shared the joy of qualifying to face the host country's team.

Some Algerian players carried the Palestinian flag and others wore a keffiyeh after the end of the marathon match, and during the celebration with the Algerian fans present at the Al Thumama World Cup Stadium, which hosted the exciting match yesterday, Saturday, between the two teams.

The players went to the places where the "Greens" fans were in the stadium to celebrate with them the victory over Morocco and qualify, and exchanged greetings after the great performance of the "Desert Warriors" team.

Algeria's players took souvenir photos at the match stadium, raising the Palestinian flag and the keffiyeh with the flag of their country.

And the official account of the Algerian national team published pictures of the players' celebrations, which were decorated with the Palestinian flag and the keffiyeh in the middle of the Algerian flags.

Mahrez congratulates

The Algerian star, Riyad Mahrez, player of Manchester City, celebrated his country's victory over its Moroccan counterpart, and its qualification to face Qatar in the semi-finals.

Mahrez, who was absent from the tournament, shared, on his personal account on Facebook, a picture of the Algerian players' celebration of winning the match, commenting on it with only one word, "Men".

Mahrez's post received a wide response from the masses, as it received more than half a million likes and thousands of comments.

The player also posted on his personal account on Twitter a tweet in which the Algerian flag is next to the heart symbol in green, and it garnered more than 51,000 likes.
