The Middle East Twitter account published a harvest of the most prominent user conversations in a number of Arab countries, on the platform in 2021;

The account began publishing the statistics of sports conversations in Egypt, which witnessed the top of the Zamalek hashtag as the most used football club hashtag, followed by Al-Ahly for the second year in a row.

Zamalek club captain Shikabala came at the forefront of the most mentioned players in Egypt, followed by Liverpool star and Egypt captain Mohamed Salah, then Al-Ahly club goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy, and fourthly, the other Zamalek player Tariq Hamed.

Salah lost the lead for the first time in 3 years, while Ahmed Fathi came out of the top four after maintaining second place in the past three years.

And the Egyptian king acquired the top ten most liked tweets, so his picture next to Al-Aqsa Mosque, which he published in the recent ongoing Gaza war, topped the list, as well as other pictures of his celebrations, his summer vacation and his times with his family.
