In honor of the day, Frölunda's coaching trio were dressed in Christmas costumes while the players on the ice wore specially designed suits.

The reason?

The costumes and costumes are auctioned off for the benefit of sick children at Drottning Silvia's children's hospital.

A fundraiser that has so far raised around half a million kronor according to C More.

But Frölunda did not get the game right at all in the meeting against Brynäs.

After a goalless first period, Brynäs went up to 3-0 after the middle act.

Coach Roger Rönnberg was annoyed during the break.

- It really looks like the guys are coached by the elves we are today.

It's absolutely incredible.

We are probably doing our worst period in a very, very long time, he says to C More.

Frölunda made an attempt to get back into the match in the third period.

But just over five minutes in, Nicklas Danielsson extinguished the home team's hope when he put 4-0 to Brynäs.

- It was a cannon match of us.

We need these points a little more than the home team.

We wanted more and succeeded better, says Brynäs coach Mikko Manner to C More.

Brynäs climbs up to a tenth place after the victory.

For Frölunda, the loss means that they lose the league lead to Rögle.
