As a professional baseball catcher and director, he was the best in Japan three times, and a party was held at the Jingu Stadium in Tokyo to honor Katsuya Nomura, who died last February, and was visited by many people involved in the ball world and fans.

Mr. Nomura is a famous catcher who won the triple crown for the first time after the war in professional baseball, and also became the best coach in Japan three times, and died in February last year at the age of 84.

The Shinobu-kai was held jointly by six teams, including Softbank, Yakult, and Hanshin, whose predecessors were Nomura-san as players and managers, and was held at Jingu Stadium, the home of Yakult, and was visited by about 600 people from the ball world. I did.

At the meeting, Atsuya Furuta, who was active under the coach Nomura at Yakult, said in a condolence, "Although it was a strict instruction, the players were able to keep up with the coach and grow up." I conveyed my thoughts.

After that, the people who attended offered flowers to the flower stand decorated with pictures of Mr. Nomura's uniform.

In the afternoon, we also accepted flower donations from general attendees, and many fans lined up on the ground to say goodbye to Mr. Nomura.

A 32-year-old Yakult fan said, "I think he has left a lot of students and created professional baseball. I am really grateful."
