After the sprint victory in Gällivare, Anna Dyvik, who chose to invest on her own outside the national team, was rewarded with a place at the World Cup premiere in Ruka.

But there, the 26-year-old crashed in the distance race and suffered a concussion which meant that she was forced to stand over the competitions in Lillehammer.

Now the problems that the concussion brought with them are gone - and Dyvik believes that the break from training and competition has been good for form.

- I feel good, it has been good days here in Davos and I have gathered a lot of energy so I am very tagged on competing now.

How has it affected your physical shape that you missed training and competition?

- I think it's so good!

I do not get in such good shape from training.

I did not think it felt great physically in Ruka.

I think it has been good for me not to compete so much, actually.

"Usually responds well to chilling"

So that you got a notch, a concussion, it may have brought something positive with it?

- Yes I hope so.

Or I tell myself that anyway.

I usually respond quite well to chilling a bit and not competing too much.

This weekend's competitions have been pointed out as extra important for the Olympic competition on 21 December.

But Dyvik does not want to focus on something she can not influence, she says.

- I try not to think so much about it, but just run my race.

But of course I would have liked to drive in Lillehammer, my form is still good and then you want to take the opportunity to compete.

And with good form, Dyvik's expectations of the freestyle spirit in Davos are high.

- I hope that it will feel good and that I have fun and that I am with good there.
