It was a dramatic sprint duel between Sebastian Samuelsson and Simon Desthieux in Saturday's hunt start in Hochfilzen.

At the finish line, it first seemed as if the Frenchman was one tenth ahead of the Swede, who thus missed the podium.

But after a quick look in the video room, the pictures showed that Samuelsson was clearly ahead over the finish line.

- I thought I was ahead but at the same time the list of results was so clear, thought it would say that we had the same time but now he was so clearly ahead so I trusted it.

But then I checked in the video room and then I saw that I was clearly ahead, he says to SVT Sport.

The result was later corrected and the Swede still had to step up on the podium.

"I do not know how it can go wrong"

SVT Sports expert, Björn Ferry, comments on the chaos at the finish line:

- You immediately saw that it was tight.

That it then differed by a tenth felt strange, but you accept it and trust that it is right.

Samuelsson did the same.

Then after review, it turns out that he is ahead, and if you look at the finish photo, he is clearly ahead.

How can it be so wrong?

- I do not know how it can really go wrong.

It may be something with how time passes on the transponder.

Right as it is maybe he has lost one on one leg and is one gone maybe it can measure wrong.

But that's hard to say.

What would have happened if Sweden had not demanded to see the goal photo?

- That is the big question.

Could this have gone through if no one had said anything?

If they finish in the same tenth, it is an automatic finish photo, but if they do not, they will not check.

But if no one had said anything, would it have been wrong then?

It can not be up to the riders to protest.
