The World Cup for Snowboard and Men's Snowboard Cross was held in Austria on the 10th, and Yoshiki Takahara, who participated alone in the Japanese team, finished in 5th place, the highest this season.

In the snowboard cross, multiple players start at the same time and slide on a course with a jumping platform to compete for the ranking.

The 23-year-old Takahara, who is aiming to participate in the Beijing Olympics, advanced to the semi-finals in the final tournament with 32 people who passed the qualifying.

In the semi-finals, we faced a race in which four players competed with German and Italian players, but we were at the bottom of the group and did not advance to the final where the top two players advanced.

Takahara finished in 5th place, the highest race point of the season, and showed a slip approaching his best 4th place.
