Marvik reveals the reasons for the team's loss against Qatar and explains: "We were the best"

The coach of the UAE national football team, Dutch Van Marwijk, confirmed that the team played good football in the first half, but it was the players who made the goals of the Qatari team by making naive mistakes during the match that brought the two teams together, Friday, in the quarter-finals of the Arab Football Cup, which ended with the loss of Al-Abyad Five goals for free.

Marvik said in televised statements after the match: "When you make such mistakes, the game turns...and it seems crazy."

And about the message he sends to the Emirati fans, Marvik stressed that they are trying to give their best in every match.

Marvik described the team as good and that he played with confidence from the start.

"We were better and it may sound crazy when we say that, but when you make such mistakes, you give goals to the opponent," Marvik added.
