Lee Jung-hoo, who came close to the record of the most consecutive awards in the history of the late director Hyo-jo Jang, was called by his father, coach Lee Jong-beom, who won the sixth prize, and took the golden gloves in his arms.

In the catcher category, where Yang Eui-ji was missing, Kang Min-ho took the first in four years, and Hanwha second baseman Jung Eun-won and Kiwoom shortstop Kim Hye-seong received their first career honors.
