No Swede has won the glorious Top 10 final.

Henrick von Eckermann was close to breaking the drought on Friday night, when he was responsible for two flawless rounds in Geneva.

The Swede - who together with Peder Fredricson and Malin Baryard received the Bragdguldet earlier this week - led for a short while after his second round.

- It's an incredible feeling to ride this horse (King Edward).

I did what I could.

We'll see if that's enough, said von Eckermann.

Maher took home the victory

That was not enough.

He was defeated by the British Ben Maher - who rode on Explosion.

Maher rode flawlessly in the time of 49.57, just over a second faster than von Eckermann who finished second.

With the victory, Ben Maher received a prize check worth SEK 1.6 million.

Peder Fredricson had a heavier night with double demolition.

He finished eight.

This was the 20th edition of the Top 10.
