Ali Mabkhout apologizes to the Emirati audience.. This is his comment on the loss
The national football team striker, Ali Mabkhout, apologized to the Emirati fans after the big loss that Al-Abyad suffered against Qatar, with five clean goals, on Friday, in Doha, and his exit from the Arab Cup.
He said in televised statements that "the Qatari team was the best and most prepared," adding: "I apologize to the Emirati public for appearing at this level. We have to review our accounts."
He added, "The Qatari team played on the mistakes we made, and congratulations to our brothers in Qatar. It's just football they deserve."
