The Spanish Football League "La Liga" has launched the "League for Promising Students in the Emirates and the Middle East and North Africa" ​​program, which includes scholarships for promising players in the Madrid Education and Sports Complex. The League revealed, during a press conference held yesterday at the headquarters of the "La Liga" in Dubai Sports City, that it is conducting open trials for its talents, and nominating distinguished players of different ages to join the development program, which will start in the summer of 2022 in the Spanish capital, Madrid.

The press conference was attended by the stars of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, the ambassadors of the League, Fernando Sanz and Luis Garcia, the head of sports projects "La Liga for the promising ones", Juan Floret, and the head of the international development department for the "La Liga for the promising ones", Javier Hernandez, who confirmed that the initiative comes to support and promote Football is for promising all over the world, as the program takes the La Liga development methodology to a new level, offering different and advanced programs aimed at upgrading talents in all areas of life.

He added: The Madrid Sports Complex can accommodate 450 people, and contains an international school, a library, a medical laboratory, games and study rooms, in addition to football fields according to the latest models, various training areas, a gym and a swimming pool, and is the latest in a series of sports development platforms launched by the League since 2015 in Dubai for higher education as they choose development paths for higher education scholarships at American universities and football contracts with professional clubs.

Florett stressed that "the new project is a new step in the framework of our continuous commitment to nurturing young talents and a commitment on the one hand to education, which is the cornerstone for the player to complete his football career on sound foundations."

For his part, Sanz said, "The UAE League Academy is an ideal model from which to launch the new project, given the amazing development of young people, youngsters and buds here in Dubai."

He added, "The La Liga Academy is constantly working to produce a stable group of talents for professional clubs in Spain and in other countries in the rest of the world, and this was demonstrated by giving 20 players a living experience with Spanish clubs, and concluding more than 20 contracts with local clubs."
