[Beijing Winter Olympics] Visit the intangible cultural and creative "Cloisonne Hetian Jade Curling" production for the Beijing Winter Olympics

On December 7, in Dachang Hui Autonomous County of Hebei Province, the "Hometown of Cloisonne in China", Ma Fuliang, the inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage filigree inlay production skills, led his team to produce the Beijing Winter Olympics licensed cultural and creative product "Cloisonne Hotan" Jade curling".

Filigree inlay, also known as "fine gold craftsmanship", is to pinch gold, silver, and copper into silk and use various techniques to make various ornaments.

The process is extremely complicated, requiring more than a dozen processes such as silk making, engraving, and stone setting. Even today with advanced technology, it can only be operated by hand.

In 2020, Ma Fuliang was invited by the Olympic Organizing Committee to produce the Beijing Winter Olympics licensed product "Cloisonne Hetian Jade Curling". The curling is made of Hetian jade and 100 grams of pure silver as the main material, combining filigree inlay, cloisonne production and Beijing jade carving The three unique national "intangible heritage" techniques are quite sophisticated in their patterns, meanings, selection of materials and workmanship.

Through such an "intangible cultural heritage" cultural and creative product with Olympic cultural characteristics, it effectively spreads Chinese culture and showcases the humanistic characteristics and urban characteristics of the host city.
