(Winter Olympics asks "Ji") Who won the first gold medal in the history of the Winter Olympics?

  China News Service, Shijiazhuang, December 7th. In 1924, Charles Jutlau followed the US sports delegation to France to participate in the "Eighth Olympiad Sports Week" organized by the International Olympic Committee.

The first event of the event was the men's 500m speed skating, and Jutra won the championship with a record of 44 seconds.

  Later, the International Olympic Committee officially confirmed this Sports Week event as the first Winter Olympics.

Therefore, the first gold medal in this Winter Olympics, that is, the world's first Winter Olympic gold medal, was won by American athlete Charles Jutlaw.

  Jutlau was born in New York, USA in 1900 at the age of 95.

It is understood that one of the secrets of Jutlau's gold medal was the unique movement of American athletes at that time by swinging their arms to accelerate their bodies. Subsequently, this new technology quickly became popular among European athletes.
