Damallsvenska Hammarby, who finished seventh this year, chooses to release three players - midfielder Petronella Ekroth, midfielder Jonna Ståhl and striker Frida Thörnqvist.
Both Ståhl and Ekroth have been sidelined with injuries since joining the club in 2019 and 2020, respectively. And last year, both suffered cruciate ligament injuries.
