This summer, the trio Malin Baryard Johnsson, Peder Fredricson and Henrik von Eckermann stood for a strong performance when they won Olympic gold in team jumping.

And now they are further praised when they are awarded Svenska Dagbladet's prize for this year's Swedish sports performance.

- It feels fantastic, of course.

That is the icing on the cake after a fantastic season, what a year we have had, says Malin Baryard Johnsson.

The gold rider is with us directly from Norrköping, where she stands next to her horse Indiana, which was exactly the horse she took the Olympic medal with.

- What to say, it is an honor to have a horse like this.

She is worth all the feats too, without her horse a rider is nothing, she says.

Baryard Johnsson has previously described his Indiana as very special, a horse that can be difficult to control and get control of.

The energetic mare was born in 2008 and it has taken the duo six years to get to know each other.

Indiana reacts differently than other horses, and the question is asked if anyone else would be able to ride her.

- We do not know, but I do it and I do it well in any case, says Baryard Johnsson.
