A local report came out that Son Heung-min also tested positive while the number of people infected with Corona 19 at Tottenham Hotspur, a professional football club in England, was on the rise.

The British media 'Football Insider' reported that "Son Heung-min is among the six players who have contracted COVID-19."

Earlier, British media, such as the BBC and Football London, reported that six Tottenham players and two coaches tested positive for COVID-19.

An official announcement from the club has not been made, but 'Football Insider', citing a source, said, "Emerson Royal and Brian Hill were confirmed positive for COVID-19 and could not play against Norwich City on the 5th. Heung-Min Son, Lucas Mora, Ben Davis, Injured Christian Romero also tested positive this week.

"Along with them, coach Ryan Mason and coach Christian Stellini have also been infected, and the Tottenham team is planning to conduct additional PCR (gene amplification) tests," he added.

With a tight schedule this month, Tottenham have faced the worst.

Tottenham Hotspur have their Europa Conference League group stage against Rennes (France) on the 10th of this month, Brighton & Hove Albion on the 12th, Leicester City on the 17th, and Liverpool on the 20th in the Premier League.

If they test positive, players will have to isolate for 10 days according to the guidelines of the British quarantine authorities, and will not be able to play.

If additional tests result in more confirmed cases and do not meet the required number of players for the match, the match schedule may be postponed.

At Tottenham, two players tested positive for COVID-19 in October due to a test error.

At the time, Son Heung-min was also mentioned as a confirmed case of Corona 19, but as a result of additional analysis, the test result was confirmed to be incorrect.
