Social networking sites published a video of a sharp quarrel between Juventus striker Alvaro Morata and coach Massimiliano Allegri on the touchline during the 2-0 win over Genoa.

In the 72nd minute, he was fouled against Morata due to a handball in the Genoa area and was angry, and fired some words in the direction of the referee and Davide Berachi, the defender of Genoa.

Following this, Allegri decided to remove Morata and Moise Kean to replace him.

Morata, who has scored in only one of his last 11 Serie A matches, exploded in anger when Allegri tried to hug him.

The striker and his coach began arguing in front of everyone before Morata came to the bench.

And the "microphones" - located in the stadium inside the "Allianz Arena" - picked up Allegri as he said to Morata, "The referee mischaracterized, you have to shut up!".

The Spanish striker responded angrily, "What did you do?!".

Morata's frustration was compounded when Kane was warned within 60 seconds of his participation.

Morata is having a miserable spell in Turin and his relationship with the fans is already strained.

And just last week, the Spaniard came off as a substitute in the 1-0 loss to Atalanta and the club's fans jeered as he left the field.

And Allegri sought to publicly defend Morata in the media and tried to mitigate their dispute on the touchline.

"I did not decide to replace him, but he was booked and I preferred to take him out," Allegri said - after winning 2-0.

"There was nothing and I'm sorry, because Alvaro played a great match, even if he didn't score."

Juventus were leading 1-0 before Morata was replaced, and Juan Cuadrado scored the first goal from a corner kick.

Paulo Dybala added 8 minutes before the end of time, to raise him to fifth place, 7 points behind the first four places.
