Sweden got off to a flying start and went up in a 4-0 lead already during the ten opening minutes.

Two of the goals were scored by Kim Nilsson.

- It's nice that we get holes in them quite early.

Nice for myself to be able to score two goals as well, he says.

After that, Denmark actually reduced through Lukas Eldholm who scored his third goal for the tournament.

At the beginning of the second period, Sweden had a worse period and Denmark managed to create some chances.

- It will be easy for them to counter and have some dangerous situations when we go up with so many people.

This will not work later in the tournament and it is something we have to train on, even if it is easy for it to be like this in matches like this, says Albin Sjögren.

Sjögren still scored two goals in the period and has thus now reached the milestone of 50 national team goals.

8-1 was made by World Cup debtor Omar Aldeeb and it was really nice.

He stood in front of goal and got a hard pass from Robin Nilsberth which he steered in between the legs of himself.

- It really is a delicacy, says SVT commentator Chris Härenstam.

- I think he has taken for granted.

Very fun to see him so far, says expert Mattias Samuelsson.

In the third period, Sweden continued to scoop and the match ended 15-1.

When Sweden lost to Finland, today's victory means that they finish second in the group.

Now the quarterfinals await on Thursday, but the opposition is not yet ready.
