Halfway into the World Cup relay in Östersund, it looked dark for Sweden - despite a good first leg by Linn Persson.

Mona Brorsson, who drove Sweden's second leg, shot full in the horizontal shooting and left the shooting range as first.

Things went worse in horizontal shooting.

The shooter completely failed for Brorsson, who blocked a total of five shots, had to go two penalty rounds and ended up far behind the lead.

She switched to Elvira Öberg in ninth place.

Elvira Öberg, in turn, did not have a clean afternoon on the shooting range with three booms.

The better it went in the track.

She has impressed in the ride throughout the start of the season and the relay was no exception - and when she handed over to Hanna Öberg, Sweden was in third place, just over a minute and 20 seconds behind leading France.

- I like to travel six kilometers, it's a fun distance.

It was just out and gas from the start, says Öberg who was 49 seconds faster in the track than the Frenchwoman Julia Simon.

In the end, it was a battle between Sweden and Norway for third place.

Due to two booms by Hanna Öberg in the standing shot, Norwegian Marte Olsbu Röiseland passed and went up to third place.

But Hanna Öberg went up in the back and the whole thing was decided in the track.

It was all decided in the race where Hanna Öberg was fastest and in the finish only two tenths before Röiseland - and Sweden was third.
