It was two teams with less good form that met in Scandinavium.

The top team Frölunda came from two straight losses on penalties, and had no three points in the last four matches.

Linköping had four losses in a row in the baggage.

The first period was even.

Frölunda dominated in the beginning, without getting a dividend.

Instead, hill John Nyberg made it 1-0 for Linköping after 16.35.

Past several players

Nyberg, who a few years ago played in Frölunda, charged from the blue line - and the shot went past a handful of players into goal.

-Their back puts up a puck for me, says John Nyberg to C More.

-I just try to shoot as hard as I can, and then it goes in, he continues.

The second period was goalless.

Frölunda then "led" the shooting statistics by 20-19, but Linköping was still in the lead with 1-0.

-It feels like we have good pressure in the attack zone, but we do not get the puck in.

So it's sour, says Elmer Söderblom in Frölunda to C More.

The home team had a hard time creating really sharp chances.

At the same time, Marcus Högberg, goalkeeper in Linköping, was very stable and alert.

Lasu struck

At 4.32 in the third period, however, came 1-1.

Frölunda bit hard around Linköping's goal.

Nicklas Lasu pushed in the puck, on a pass from Ryan Lasch.

Nice for Lasu, who got a slap in the face just before the second break.

The match started after the equalizer.

Both teams picked up the pace in their attacks for a while, to get a winning goal.

But there were no more goals in regular time.

Frölunda had to play extra time for the fourth match in a row.
