PSG supporters will not be able to travel to Lens on Saturday to support their team.

A decree published on Friday in the Official Journal indeed prohibits them from accompanying the players for the 17th day of Ligue 1. The decree emphasizes that the movements of PSG are "frequently a source of public disorder".

Paris SG fans will not be able to accompany their team to Lens on Saturday during the 17th day of Ligue 1 because of a "real and serious risk of clash between the supporters of the two clubs", according to a decree from the Ministry of Interior published this Friday in the Official Journal.

"The individual or collective movement, by any means, of any person availing himself of the quality of supporter of Paris-Saint-Germain or behaving as such, is prohibited between the municipalities of the region of Ile-de-France, d 'on the one hand, and the commune of Lens "in Pas-de-Calais, on the other hand, indicates the decree.

"Violent behavior"

The decree underlines that the movements of the PSG are "frequently a source of disturbances to public order" and are punctuated by brawls, throws of firecrackers, smoke or agricultural bombs, causes of injuries or outbreaks of fire.

The ministry also considers that during meetings organized in Lens, "some supporters of RC Lens frequently demonstrate their violent behavior, manifested around and in the stadiums".

Incidents between supporters had notably disrupted the Lens - Lille match on September 18.

For his part, the prefect of Pas-de-Calais has, by decree, prohibited parking and car traffic on public roads and access to the Bollaert-Delelis stadium for Saturday, in view of the meeting scheduled at 9:00 p.m.
