Soccer J1 Vegalta Sendai has announced that next season's coach will continue to be head coach Masato Harasaki, who has been promoted from head coach.

Vegalta has been retired from coach Makoto Teguramori after being demoted to J2 next season on the 20th of last month, and coach Harasaki, who has been promoted from head coach, is in charge of the rest of the season.



Vegalta announced on the 3rd that Harasaki will continue to coach next season.



Director Harasaki is 47 years old from Aomori prefecture.



After retiring from active duty in Vegalta in 2004, he was involved in coaching during the upbringing age, head coaching the top teams of other clubs, and head coaching Vegalta from this season.



Director Harasaki commented, "We will take the result of J2 demotion firmly and fight next season with the idea that we will definitely regain our responsibility."



Tomohiro Sasaki, President of Vegalta, commented, "Director Harasaki has a lot of teaching experience as a staff member of Vegalta. I think he will strongly organize the team with a style of uncompromising training and detailed communication."



Vegalta will face the final match of the season with Kashima Antlers at home on the 4th.
