It rippled back and forth as Detroit and the Seattle Kraken met.

When Raymond put 3-2 with a fine and fast shot a bit into the third period, the victory was close.

But Kraken forced an extension after a late equalizer.

The match was decided on penalties, where Raymond missed his penalty before teammate Adam Erne could decide.

It was Detroit's fourth straight victory.

- The audience helped us, now that we played for the second day in a row (won 2-1 against Boston the night before Wednesday), Raymond says according to NHL.com.

He now tops the NHL's rookie league, with 22 points in 24 games and is roasting.

That's a full five points down to second in the points league for rookies, Toronto's Michael Bunting.
