The new German coach is preparing to start his official work with Man United .. And Ronaldo is not afraid of his plans

German temporary coach Ralf Rangnick has obtained a work permit in England, the club announced today.

Rangnick, 63, will be presented in front of the media tomorrow, before he supervises the team for the first time against its guest Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

"After all transactions have been completed, we will be holding a personal press conference with Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford at 9am tomorrow morning," a club statement read.

On Monday, United announced the appointment of Rangnick as interim coach to succeed Norwegian article Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, pending obtaining a work permit after he left his position as director of sport and development at Lokomotiv Moscow, Russia.

Michael Carrick will take charge of the team for the third match in a row against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, after leading them to victory over Villarreal in Spain in the Champions League and a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in London last week.

Rangnick will remain coach until the end of the season before taking on an advisory role for an additional two years.

On the other hand, Carrick saw that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will succeed in adapting to Rangnick's preferred high pressure style.

Since the announcement of the arrival of the former RB Leipzig coach, doubts have been raised about Ronaldo's ability at the 36th Sane to adapt to his footballing ideas: constant high pressure and high-speed vertical counter-attacks.

"It's a myth maybe," he said in response to the idea that Ronaldo might not put pressure on his opponents. "He has played for many teams over the years and has been successful in playing with different styles."

He continued, "He continues to score goals with every team he has played with and I am sure he will continue to do so, I have no doubt," adding that "the players adapt. You have to have the skills to play in different ways. Ralph has a great history over a long period of time and has succeeded in that".

Carrick raised the controversy when Ronaldo kept the bench against Chelsea in a match during which he applied pressure, before entering it in the second half.

Ronaldo went straight into the players' tunnel, which sparked speculation that he was unhappy with Carrick's decision, but the latter replied, "It seemed like a big decision, but we talked together and it wasn't like that. Cristiano was responsive."

He continued, "He was in the dressing room and was great and supported the players. At the break I spoke with the team and he was warming up for 10 minutes, and he was ready to go into the second half, adding that people are trying to "turn things around in a negative way but behind the scenes it's completely different."
