FIFA approves the roadmap for the election of a new board of directors for the Egyptian Federation

The Egyptian Football Association announced today that it has obtained the approval of the International Football Association (FIFA) regarding the roadmap for the election of the new board of directors.

The Egyptian Football Association stated, through its official account on the social networking site “Facebook” today, that it had received FIFA’s approval of the road map presented to it, leading to the election of a new board of directors on the fifth of next January, coinciding with the date of the end of the mission of the tripartite committee headed by Ahmed Mujahid, in charge of managing the affairs of the Egyptian Federation. .

The statement added: "FIFA's approval included what the Egyptian Federation had done in calling the General Assembly and making some amendments to the articles of the regulation."

He explained, "The approval also included what FIFA had previously set as mandates for the tripartite committee to manage the upcoming electoral process, while emphasizing that its members are not entitled to nominate themselves even if they submit their resignations."
