After a 43rd and 55th place for Stina Nilsson during the World Cup premiere weekend in Östersund, the star now has to take the step down to the IBU Cup the second competition weekend.

- Actually, it is the same plan as we had last year.

It is important for her to be able to compete a lot, says Johannes Lukas during a press conference.

- But of course the door to the World Cup is not closed.

But we have a clear development plan for her and we will follow it in the future as well.

"A constant discussion"

Internally in the team among leaders and coaches, they have had a discussion to come up with what will be best for Stina Nilsson in the future.

- It is a constant discussion that we have, what is best for each active.

Internally, we have thought about what is best for Stina, to stay here for two weeks where there is a risk that she will not be able to start the hunt and then not run the relay, then it will only be a competition for her.

In the IBU Cup, she gets to run several competitions.

So it's a good option to drive the second weekend there.

And according to Johannes Lukas, Stina Nilsson must have made the decision calmly.

- The biggest chance to get more competitions is at the IBU Cup.

We explained to her and she understood.

She's just loaded to compete.

She lives this biathlon life with so much motivation and joy.

For her, the most important thing is not where the competitions go without having to develop all the time.

- As I said, the door is not closed in the future, but we take it week by week, and so it is for everyone active, that we have different plans.
