Morocco makes a perfect start in the Arab Cup and beats Palestine

The Moroccan team won a wide victory over Palestine 4-0 today in the first matches of the two teams in the third group competition in the Arab Cup.

Morocco's goals were scored by Raja Casablanca players Mohamed Nahiri (31), Abdelilah Hafezi (56 and 64), and Egyptian Al-Ahly player Badr Bannoun (87 from a penalty kick).

With this victory, the "Atlas Lions" lead the third group with three points, waiting to meet Saudi Arabia and Jordan, while the Palestinian team bottoms the standings with zero points.

Al-Nahiri succeeded in opening the scoring with a powerful shot from a distance that missed the Palestinian goalkeeper Amr Qaddoura, hitting the crossbar and shaking the net (31).

Hafizi managed to double the score for Morocco in the 56th minute after he caught a cross and turned it with a direct shot into the goal, before the same player added the third goal with a ground shot from outside the penalty area to live in the right corner of Kaddoura (65).

The Egyptian Al-Ahly star Bennoune concluded the goals of the "Atlas Lions" with a fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 86th minute, after blocking Sofiane Rahimi.
