The Cycling Federation held a reception and honoring the stars of the cycling team, which was recently crowned with 44 medals, and ranked third in the Arab Championship that was held in Egypt.

The ceremony, which was held the day before yesterday, was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General of the General Sports Authority, Khaled Al-Midfa, the President of the Cycling Federation, Mansour Bouassiba, the Executive Director of the National Olympic Committee, Muhammad Saeed bin Darwish, and the Secretary-General of the Arab Cycling Federation, Counselor Ismail Al-Hosani.

Bouaseba stressed in a speech during the ceremony that "what has been achieved is only a beginning, and the federation will start from now on preparing for the upcoming tournaments, and what has been achieved is considered an achievement in the true sense of the word."

Al Midfa, for his part, expressed his happiness with the achievement of the cycling champions, stressing that the authority is keen to support and encourage sports talents.

The Olympic Committee was keen to honor a number of stars, as bin Darwish, on behalf of the Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee, Muhammad bin Sulayem, honored the President of the Federation, Mansour Bousaiba, Yasser Al-Doukhi, Secretary-General and Head of Mission, Khalifa bin Omair, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of Mission, and Youssef Mirza. The captain of the national team, Ahmed Mayouf, the citizen cycling technician.
