The Arab World Cup opened in Qatar today, Tuesday, with a special ceremony at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, and witnessed various segments that combined visual dazzle and modern technology.

The ceremony summoned the historical figure "Juha" to send special messages about the past and future of the Arabs, with the virtual participation of the late Kuwaiti artist Abdel Mohsen Abdel Reda and the late Egyptian artist Saeed Saleh.

The ceremony was marked by the joint playing of the national anthems of all Arab countries, after the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, announced the official opening of the tournament, which will continue until December 18.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino worked hard to choose words in Arabic to deliver his speech at the ceremony, which was attended by a number of Arab heads of state and senior officials.

The ceremony was an announcement for the opening of Al-Bayt Stadium, which will host the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in about a year.
