Real Madrid has had a tough start to the season.
Now the club is acting.
After only four victories in the eleven opening rounds, coach David Aznar is now fired.
This is announced by the club on its website.
"Real Madrid thank you for the job you have done, your commitment and the professionalism you have always shown," the club wrote.
The capital team is currently in tenth place in the table, with 14 recorded points.
Last season, Real Madrid finished second behind the superb Barcelona.
Kosovar Asllani injured
Swedish star Kosovar Asllani injured himself in a league match on September 25 and has not played since.
But the 32-year-old is back in training and approaching a comeback.
Then she will have to play under the new coach Alberto Toril, who replaces David Aznar.
Toril played for Real Madrid between 1991 and 1994, mainly in the B-team.
Between 2009 and 2013, he was the coach for youth and B teams in the club.
