Against the conference rival from Los Angeles, Rodgers only made 28 of 45 pass attempts, in the NFL more of an elevated average, especially with difficult throws against the aggressive defensive or with passes over long distances, but the 37-year-old repeatedly made his enormous Qualities proven - last season he was voted the most valuable player (MVP) in the league.

Particularly noteworthy: Rodgers even scored the first touchdown of the game with a run into the end zone despite a currently broken toe.

Broken toe in quarantine

He said he suffered the break during a workout in his house when he had to be quarantined because of a Covid infection and missed a game with his team.

At the start of the season, Rodgers said he was "immunized" against the virus, which led the public to believe he was vaccinated.

In fact, in the course of his infection, it turned out that his testimony was referring to homeopathic immunotherapy, among other things, and had never been vaccinated against Covid.

In the coming days, according to Rodgers, it will now be decided "what the best further course of action" is for the injury to his foot.

An operation is also being discussed.

With nine wins and three defeats, the Packers and the Rams (7/4) are currently among the title favorites this season.

The Super Bowl, the final of the NFL, will take place in Los Angeles on February 13, 2022 (local time).

Because the Packers and the Rams play in the same conference, they would meet in the semi-finals of the play-offs at the latest.

A final between both teams is not possible.
