From February 9th to 25th, 2018, the 23rd Winter Olympic Games were held in Pyeongchang, Gangneung and Jeongseon, South Korea. This is also the first Winter Olympics in South Korea's history.

As the host of the ice project for this Winter Olympics, Gangneung, a coastal city in Gangwon-do, South Korea, harvested a lot of transportation and tourism resources during the Winter Olympics.

A few days ago, Gangneung Mayor Jin Hangen pointed out in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency that after the Olympics, Gangneung City maintained professional maintenance of the Winter Olympics venues and continued to benefit from the legacy of the Winter Olympics.
