Team Edin was ready for the final after a real nail-biter to the semifinals on Friday.

Then they defeated Italy 6-3.

But when they faced Scotland in the European Championship final, it became far too difficult.

The reigning European and world champion team Edin started strongest - despite the Scots taking the only point in the first round.

Then Sweden answered and went to the lead 2-1 before the third round.

When Scotland in the fourth round stole two points from team Edin, it went downhill.

- Big miss with so little margin of error.

This is painful, says SVT Sports expert Eva Lund.

"We got pyspunka"

- We got little boy punk, says Lund.

It started very well for Sweden but then the hill became too steep.

And when the air runs out, it runs out.

Scotland extended its lead and the gold slipped out of the hands of Team Niklas Edin.

Scotland showed that it was a bit sharper.
