Earlier this year, Westman made his World Cup debut.

Then she placed in a 35th place.

Last week, she missed the podium with only 0.6 points in the season's first FIS cup competition.

And today Westman went out as the third jumper in a windy Nizhny Tagil in Russia.

When SVT sport spoke to the 20-year-old earlier today, she said this:

- I know that I have the capacity to make it to the second round and take points.

And she did.

The jump of 77 meters was enough all the way to the second jump for the 20-year-old.

Outside the podium

It was an improvement from the first jump, 79.5 but it was not enough all the way.

The opposition in the World Cup was tough and Westman ended up a bit off the podium.

It was a total of a 20th place when she picked up important points for the overall World Cup.

Marita Kramer from Austria won comfortably.
