It looked good when the Swedish pair stormed to 6-0 in the fifth and decisive set and then had three match balls at 10-7 but the Asian pair Wong Chun Ting / Ho Kwan Kit won five straight balls and the set with 12-10 after some passive Swedish game.
When Möregårdh could not control an awkward ball hit far out on the edge, the match was over, a snotty end for the Swedes who seemed to have turned the match around.
Wong / Ho won by 11-5.8-11,14-12.9-11,12-10.
Möregårdh is still in singles and will play his round of 16 final tonight against South Korean Lim Jonghoon.
At 20.00 Kristian Karlsson and Mattias Falck play their eighth in doubles against the South Korean couple An Jaehyun / Cho Daeseong.
