The Iraqi national team loses the services of its most prominent star due to a cruciate ligament injury

The Danish club Vaile announced that its player and star of the Iraqi national team, Ali Adnan, ended his season early with the team, after he suffered a severe cruciate ligament injury, during his first matches with the team in the Danish league.

The club said on its website that the player had ruptured his cruciate ligament.

Thus, the "Rafidain Lions" team will miss one of its most prominent stars during the upcoming Arab Cup, and in the final qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

Ali Adnan is known to be the first Iraqi to play in the Italian league with the Udinese teams, and then Atlanta during the 2015-2019 period, before he played for the Canadian club Vancouver 2020, and then moved to the Danish club, which he joined in early November.
