Jordan's coach announces his squad to participate in the Arab Cup

Iraqi Adnan Hamad, coach of the Jordan national football team, announced on Friday the Al-Nashami squad to participate in the tenth edition of the Arab Cup, which will be hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, between November 30 and December 18.


Hamad's announcement of the Jordan national team's list comes after the end of the local season on Thursday, with Al-Faisaly crowning the Jordan Cup champion, while Al-Wehdat won the Super Cup, the Galilee, the Federation Shield and Ramtha the Professional League title.


Hamad said in a video clip broadcast by the Jordan Football Association on YouTube: "I congratulate all the Jordanian clubs that won titles this season, it was an exceptional season after a long absence due to the Corona pandemic... The return of the fans to the stands and the return of the exciting competition for Jordanian football was something special this season".


Hamad added, "I congratulate the Jordanian Federation, led by His Highness Prince Ali, for this achievement, which was among the challenges and conditions of the Corona pandemic... Today is the day of the people, the day of the national team in an exceptional tournament, the Arab Cup."


The Arab Cup draw placed Jordan in Group C along with Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Palestine.


The Jordanian national team will start its campaign in the tournament on the first of December against Saudi Arabia, then it will meet with Morocco on the fourth of it and with Palestine on the seventh of the same month at the end of the group stage.


Jordan's national team, led by Adnan Hamad, prepared with a series of friendly matches, the last of which was last month in a training camp in Europe, which saw a 2-0 victory over Kosovo and a 0-1 loss to Belarus.
