The teams are giants in Swedish bandy and in the 2000s, Sandviken has participated in eleven Swedish Championship finals and Edsbyn in nine.

Edsbyn had the most chances and took the lead in the middle of the second half.

Jonas Edling was completely free and had plenty of time before he put in 1-0.

A couple of minutes later, Jimi Heinonen pulled in a corner for 2-0.

- It is difficult to analyze but it was a lot of position war even though I think we are pushing for a little more.

The defense was really good even though we should have scored a few more goals in the positions we had.

We had a war for 90 minutes to get the points, says Edsbyn's captain Oscar Wikblad to Sportbladet Play.

The line judge inside and removed upset players

Dennis Henriksen reduced to 1-2 on a corner with three minutes left of regular time.

When the team pressed for an equalizer in extra time, it heated up after a corner and it started to crank.

One player in each team was sent off for misconduct, where the line judge was inside and cleared away upset players.

- It was tight all the way in.

They get 2-0 in the second and we have to fight uphill but fought all the way in, says Saik's captain Hannes Edlund.
