The legend of Portugal nominates 5 players to win the Ballon d'Or, including Mohamed Salah

Former Portugal and Real Madrid star Luis Figo has chosen five nominees for the 2021 Ballon d'Or award: Egyptian Mohamed Salah, French Karim Benzema, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Argentine Lionel Messi and Poland's Robert Lewandowski.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony will be held next Monday, November 29, at the Chatelet Theater in the French capital, Paris.

It is noteworthy that the award granted by the French magazine "France Football" to the best players in the world has been for 11 years, from 2008 to 2019, the preserve of the legendary duo, with the exception of one year, 2018, when the award went to Croatian Luka Modric.
