He announced that Mr. Mori, a director, will be appointed as the new chairman on the 1st of next month.



Mr. Mori is 66 years old.



After serving as a managing executive officer of Mitsubishi Corporation, he was appointed as a director of the Japan Sports Association for the Disabled at that time four years ago.



Mr. Mori says, "I would like to utilize my experience as a member of society in the management of the association and promote parasports toward a vibrant symbiotic society with a big goal."



Chairman Torihara, who will retire, took office in 2011 and has served as chairman for 10 years, and has been making efforts to promote parasports, improve the environment, and improve the competitiveness of athletes.



From the 1st of next month, he will be appointed Honorary Chairman.
