A new Moroccan coach in the UAE Premier League

Gulf FC announced the signing of Moroccan coach Ahmed El Mujahid to lead him in the current season of the First Division, with a contract that will continue until the end of the current season.

The coach has a good football history, as he previously trained the Al-Taawun and Dibba Al-Fujairah clubs, and in the Omani Premier League with the Omani Suwaiq, Sohar and Al-Talia clubs.

The club's executive director, Abdullah Omar, told "Emirates Today": "The contract with the new coach aims to support the team more in terms of training, so that the team can return again to achieving victories and positive results, with its distinguished technical and training capabilities."

He added: "Our confidence is high that Coach Al-Hadid will restore the distinguished image of the team, especially the one in which he appeared at the beginning of the season, and contribute to (Gulf FC) occupying an advanced position in the tournament and delighting his fans and followers. He thanked the club's management for appointing him and assigning him to his new mission."


Gulf FC occupies ninth place with seven points, and an important match awaits with Al-Taawon in the next round.
