Doctor and journalist Nelson Castro has published a new book entitled "Maradona's Health.. The True Story", in which he recounted hidden aspects of the biography of the player who passed away about a year ago after a heart attack.

Spanish newspapers, including "AS" and "MARCA", quoted Castro recently revealing some secrets that came in his newly issued book, related to Maradona's life, crises and the circumstances of his death, based on files he viewed exclusively and dialogues with a number of those who were on Contact Maradona and they did not speak to the media earlier.

Castro revealed that Maradona was buried without a heart, after his heart was extracted after his death, for fear that one of the groups would carry out its plans to dig up the player's grave and obtain his heart. Doctors also sought to conduct additional analyzes on the heart to find out more details about the causes of death.

He pointed out that the size of Maradona's heart was not normal, as its weight reached half a kilogram compared to 300 grams for the normal human heart, and he justified this by the suffering of Maradona from health problems at the level of the heart.

He considered that the late Argentine star was lucky because his body had the ability to resist the destructive lifestyle in which the former Napoli player lived, and said that the same circumstances meant an early death for other people.

He pointed out that Maradona fell into the drug trap early in his life, and never wanted to follow plans to recover from addiction to many unhealthy behaviors.

Maradona passed away on November 25 of last year at the age of 60, and his death caused widespread controversy due to the circumstances surrounding the player in his last days.
