Yesterday evening, the Doha Corniche witnessed the unveiling of the countdown clock for one year to the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, in a special celebration organized by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in cooperation with FIFA.
The event was witnessed by a number of dignitaries, guests, representatives of FIFA, a number of FIFA legends, and ambassadors of the Qatar Legacy Program. Al Thawadi expressed his happiness at unveiling the countdown clock for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and celebrating that only one year remains until the launch of the expected world championship.

The shape of the watch has been designed so that it can be seen from all angles, reflecting the breathtaking views of the Doha city skyline.
The World Cup hour embodies the anticipation of fans from all over the world for the football festival, and the escalation of enthusiasm a year before the start of the tournament, leading to the opening match of the tournament on the grounds of Al Bayt Stadium on November 21, 2022.
It is noteworthy that the Qatar 2022 World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18 in 8 impressive stadiums located in places characterized by easy access from all over Qatar.
