Daichi Hara, who won the first medal in the ski freestyle moguls of the PyeongChang Olympics and is aiming to participate in the Beijing tournament next year, has been qualified for the World Cup.

Last time, Hara won the bronze medal, which is the first medal for a Japanese male player in the ski freestyle moguls at the Pyeongchang tournament.

After that, he made his debut as a bicycle racer last year and is attracting attention as a dual wield of moguls and bicycle racers.

In order for Hara to participate in the Beijing Olympics, he is required to participate in the World Cup and meet the selection criteria, but he has not yet obtained the right to participate and is designated by the Ski Association of Japan in the race held in Sweden. It was necessary to be in the upper ranks among the strengthened designated players.

In the final on the 20th, he showed a stable slide and finished 8th with 68.85.

However, in the race on the second day of the 21st, the turn and the landing of the air were disturbed in the qualifying, and it was 20th place at 62.92, and it was not possible to advance to the final by the top 16 people.

Even so, he won the World Cup qualification because he was ranked high in the conditions set by the federation in the two-day race.

In addition, 22-year-old Satsumi Matsuda has also decided to participate in the World Cup, and will participate in the race that will start next month with players such as Ikuma Horishima who has already acquired the right to participate.
