The ladies' Super League looks to be a showdown between two bitter London rivals.

Jonas Eidevall's Arsenal still leads the series one point ahead of Chelsea after the win against Manchester United earlier on Sunday.

Vivianne Miedema and Katie McCabe each scored in the 2-0 victory.

At the same time, Chelsea managed to defeat crisis-stricken Birmingham, who have a point in the first eight rounds.

Fran Kirby both started and finished the shooting.

Meanwhile, Sam Kerr splashed in a hat trick for Chelsea.

Everton also got to cheer - and it was the Swedish super talent Hanna Bennison who was behind the match-deciding 1-0 goal against Leicester.

Bennison was substituted for Clarie Emslie just before the half-time whistle and in the 81st minute she played forward Simone Magill who pushed the ball in.

Big-bet Everton have risen after the heavy start to the season and are in eighth place in the Super League table with ten points after eight rounds.
