During the autumn, Britta Johansson Norgen has harvested many lots of hard passes with intervals, competition character and lots of staking, with a single purpose.

- That I have really gotten a little better, that I feel that I am better than I have ever been, she says.

After last year's season, the motivation is strong for Britta Johansson Nordgren.

When she froze her toes in January, the chance to manage what she had built up during the pre-season disappeared.

At the Vasaloppet she was eight minutes behind the winning Lina Korsgren and in total it was a ninth place in the World Cup.

- I know that I can still develop.

I think there are improvements in both nutrition, strength and training that I can reap from this year and once I get started I will want to win every race, says Johansson Norgren to SVT Sport.

She knows that the competition is tough and that many skiers want to be involved and fight for victories.

- Many new young people are investing, that's it.

But of course I think when I'm out training that I want to win Vasan, she says.

Before last year's season, she had five straight victories in the World Cup and not being the skier everyone wants to beat is a new situation that she thinks she can take advantage of.

- Somehow it has rolled on so much.

I have felt that you just have to perform and that you can really only fail.

Now I have to beat out inferiority and the motivation has grown to show that I can get back to the top, says Britta Johansson Norgren to SVT Sport.
