Hertha coach Pal Dardai has announced an intensive analysis with his team after the sobering 0-2 in the Berlin Bundesliga derby at 1. FC Union after a short period of rest.

"Today I'll leave the players alone, it won't do any good," said Dardai on Sunday morning.

"Then we have to have an honest dialogue, then we'll be honest and direct," said the Hungarian.

Dardai thinks he already knows the reason for the defeat at the An der Alten Försterei stadium on Saturday evening.

"Yesterday, it wasn't due to the system or the tactical discipline, that was not enough offensively," said the 45-year-old, criticizing the power of attack in the attacking game.

For the upcoming Bundesliga game on Saturday (3:30 p.m. in the FAZ live ticker for the Bundesliga and on Sky) against FC Augsburg, Dardai does not yet expect Vladimir Darida (thigh) and Stevan Jovetic (corona infection) to return.

Again Dardai praised the local rival and described the current discrepancy between the two Berlin Bundesliga teams.

“There is no excuse.

Union Berlin, they do it really well and we keep working.

We have decided to build a new team, ”said Dardai and also took his team under protection.

"I think our system, our team works."

Managing director Fredi Bobic had indicated the consequences that were not described in detail at Sky on Saturday evening.

"That game gave me an awful lot of insight," said Bobic.

"Also for the planning in the coming weeks, months and years."

After twelve match days, Hertha is only three points ahead of the relegation rank with 13 points.

Union is fifth with seven points more.
