Frölunda, together with Rögle, has started to make a small move in the SHL table, but tonight Växjö seemed to be able to score a little on the team at the top.

After two periods, they had stood up really well against Frölunda away and had a 2-0 lead.

But then Frölunda made a huge turn and won in the end with the whole 5-2.

- There is so little difference between these two teams.

In the third period, we pass the puck in other ways and then we are in control.

We really follow what we talk about during the break, says Frölunda's coach Roger Rönnberg after the match to C More.

Växjö opened best

It took barely five minutes of the match before visiting Växjö took the lead.

Pontus Holmberg delivered a perfect pass to Emil Forslund who came completely free, went a few meters and then put in 1-0 behind Matthew Tomkins.

In the middle of the second period, Växjö expanded its lead.

Again, it was Pontus Holmberg who was behind the goal.

Through a new skilled pass from Holmberg, the puck found its way to Olle Lycksell who found a gap in the goal and placed 2-0.

But there was a fun ending for the guests.

Turned in third

During the break, coach Roger Rönnberg seems to have had a good chat with his players for six minutes into the third period, Frölunda had acknowledged.

Christian Folin made it 1-2 after 1.46 and barely five minutes later it was 2-2 after Jan Mursak, assisted by Joel Lundqvist, pulled away a puck that found in to the left of Janis Kalnins in Växjömålet.

But Frölunda did not give up there.

Four minutes later, the home team had taken the lead.

Ryan Lasch was behind the goal when he woke up saw Anders Grönlund who snuck up to the goal and sent the puck away against Grönlund who with a hard shot set the lead goal and made 3-2 to Frölunda.

It was a 5-2 victory after Mats Rosseli Olsen made it 4-2 with four minutes left and 5-2 in the open box shortly afterwards.
