(Winter Olympics asks "Ji") How does the National Biathlon Center present "speed and passion"?

China News Service, Zhangjiakou, November 18 (Zhao Danmei) The biathlon is a competition that combines cross-country skiing and shooting. Athletes need to shoot once every distance they slide according to the competition requirements.

This project cleverly combines the speed of skiing and the passion of shooting to test the athlete's ability to convert between movement and static.

It is understood that the National Biathlon Center consists of the stadium section, the stadium area and the technical building.

The stadium part can be divided into two parts: the surrounding track and the core area. The core area includes the shooting range, starting and finishing area, penalty circle and other venues; the stadium area is divided into the stadium operation area, the athlete area, the security area, and the news media area according to the users. And the broadcasting service area; the technical building is adjacent to the core area of the stadium, combined with the audience stands, and accommodates the Olympic family, event management, technical officials and other functions.

The biathlon race track covers a wide range, but usually the part that the audience can cover is only the core area of the stadium, which will greatly reduce the visibility of the game.

For this reason, on the one hand, the track design maximizes the coverage of the audience's sight line, and on the other hand, it enhances the intensity of the competition in the core area.

The tracks of the National Biathlon Center are mainly distributed in east-west valleys, gliding back and forth between the slopes of the north and south sides.

The technical building and the stands are located in a low-lying place on the west side of the valley. When the audience looks eastward, they can see athletes shuttle between the valleys. The ruins of the ancient Great Wall meander on the distant mountains, undoubtedly adding to the visual effect of watching the game.

The spectator stands are adjacent to the sprint track, and the fixed stands and temporary stands surround the core area of the stadium, creating a warm watching atmosphere for the stadium.

On the hillside on the north side of the shooting range, two tracks are set up from east to west. Athletes slide down the slope from the mountain to the west, and then appear on the track in the core area, either sprinting, relaying, or shooting.

This process is completely exposed to the vision of the audience and the camera, and the most passionate part of the game is shown in front of the audience, which greatly improves the viewing of the game.

In addition, in the streamline design of the technical building, the streamline of the front yard does not cross the streamline of the backyard.

The crowd in the backyard enters the building mainly through the two main entrances on the first floor.

The core area is the most intense place in the competition, and it is also the place where the personnel flow is the most complicated.

Athletes need to go through a series of pre-match preparations, starting, sprinting, finishing dressing and other processes.

In order to rationally arrange the flow lines, two underground passages that cross the track are set up in the design.

The west passage serves the athletes, connecting the athlete area on the west side with the starting area in the middle of the stadium and the indoor preparation area further north.

The east channel mainly serves the media and other people to ensure the orderly progress of the event.
